Pennsylvania Combat Sports had three fighters make their MMA debut on June 8th, 2012 at the World Cagefighting Championships IV which was held at the Kirk S. Nevin Arena in Greensburg. Leading up to the event, these fighters would undergo a six week training camp that refined and honed their existing expereince in the arts of Kickboxing, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Wrestling, and Boxing...while adding a few new "toys" to the training arsenal which were sure to pay off big on fight night.
Much of this fight camp would involve a dedicated regimen of CrossFit training, fight-centric circuit drills and repetitive sparring sessions that were meant to make the actual MMA fight at the WCC IV on June 8th, seem like a warm-up.
Competing for the hometown crowd is something that every fighter strives to do at least once in their career, and whats even better is making your amatuer MMA debut with many of your friends, family and training partners in attendance.
With a ton of support from the members of Pennsylvania Combat Sports and a focused training camp run by its coaches, all three fighters were able to finish their opponents by submission or TKO.
